I went to the John Manley lunch speech at the Chateau Laurier put on by the Canadian Club of Ottawa. The former Federal Liberal Minister of Finance was speaking about “Canada in the Pacific Century”

I pitched in with some commentary from the right to help David Akin at the Sun News Network cover some late-breaking news on Monday. The Premier of Ontario abruptly resigned and prorogued the legislature. Watching live news break from a television studio has a certain excitement.

The Premier resigned at around 6pm and Akin was plugging away under the hot lights until 10pm. Four hours of live coverage on this story for SNN tonight.

This is a duck, swimming in the Rideau Canal on a particularly grey day in Ottawa.
