đ Garfield Dunlop, the Progressive Conservative candidate, won the riding with 22,179 votes making up a 44% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Liberal candidate, Fred Larsen, received 16,413 votes (32.5%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 5,766.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Doris Middleton - NDP (15.6%) and Peter Stubbins - Green Party (8%).
