đ Dalton Mcguinty, the Liberal candidate, won the riding with 21,842 votes making up a 48.9% share of the vote.
đ„ The runner-up Progressive Conservative candidate, Jason Macdonald, received 14,945 votes (33.4%) and was therefore defeated by a vote margin of 6,897.
đ Other candidates who received a sizable share of the vote include Wali Farah - NDP (13.4%).
